When I think of the color pink I daydream about my bedroom walls that screamed "it's a girl" growing up, or my little white ruffled socks with the perfect pink trim. Now I look at the color and I see beauty and femininity. I see a color accent to an all white room and a food dye that can make a mediocre dessert suddenly scrumptious. I see the perfect satin shirt paired with a chic bandage skirt. I see embracing the side of us that people have put down in our country's past as inferior. I have always tried to be tough and not to be "too sensitive, " but my feminine side (and the color pink of course) are things I am currently grappling with. How to incorporate it into my style without looking like I am drastically changing who I am? What are the best pieces to make my fall into the world of my feminine side and
